Our first 3 day workshop offering! Join artist Vicki Norman for a plein air workshop immediately following the last day of the event entitled “Building Skills for Plein Air Painting.” Fast track your plein air painting success with this amazing skill boosting workshop! 

Painting on location requires specific techniques. These techniques can be practised as individual exercises which rapidly increase your overall painting ability. Beginning in the studio each day we will learn and practise these techniques through short exercises before heading outside to work on location. 

By the end of the workshop participants will have all the tools they need to quickly and accurately capture the relationships between colours, values and shapes in any subject.

You will begin the workshop at the The Joe Center for the Arts at 201 Reid Avenue in Port St. Joe and paint plein air in the immediate area for the duration of the workshop. It will begin at 9:00am on Monday, March 22nd and be held each day until 4:00pm, with an hour lunch break midday. The cost for the three days is $430 per person.
